[EXP3] [Week1] Mash up

The pattern language contains rules for how human beings interact with built forms — a pattern language codifies practical solutions developed over millennia, which are appropriate to local customs, society, and climate.
A form language, on the other hand, consists of geometrical rules for putting matter together. It is visual and tectonic, traditionally arising from available materials and their human uses rather than from images.Different form languages correspond to different architectural traditions, or styles.

Besides through the use of a new material or a recently-possible engineering feat, to stand out from the crowd - perhaps requires the ideas of bold, simple concept, fantastical site, visual and sensory contrast  and court controversy and the union of a pattern language with a form language.
By accommodating human sensibilities -  that environments should make human beings feel at ease; make them feel psychologically comfortable so that persons can carry out whatever functions they have to unselfconsciously, which is effectuated by the combination of a macro-manipulation and a micro-manipulation. without being disturbed by the built environment in any way. By combining simple manipulations and traditional elements to created a space that is simple and radically different and be easily understandable.  To completed a harmonious whole as a result of both the urban-scale macro-manipulation of the whole building and the interior-scale micro-manipulation of the partitioning walls and furniture  also imposes a strong constraint on the design process to adapt to the many factors. Therefore, some projects seemed to be destined for "paper architecture" status, what's popular is constanly changing, and the difference between a viral hit and a flop are often subtleTo go unique, a project must show that it’s learning from and responding to what’s popular.

[week3] submission

My custom golden texture on second floor is inspired by the maple leaf  I saw in Blue mountain recently. This texture aims to create a relationship between the building and its natural surrounding.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The texture with vertical lines contrasting horizontal lines seems to stands out from its surrounding, but its existence in fact corresponds to the rocks beside the building which makes the building vivid.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The texture on the floor is composed by this pattern. When I designed this pattern, light is my inspiration. The reason I apply this texture is that light is a element that represent  both ideas of "natural" and "transitory".
